WOW!!! I had no idea that Manitoba has so many beautiful attractions. Michael, and Lindsay, (He Goes She Goes) do wonderful videos with very interesting information. It makes a person want to be there with them. I will definitely put Manitoba on my bucket list to visit.

This was most interesting, and if I ever get to Manitoba again, I will definitely go to the Museum. You both made this video extremely interesting, with a bit of humour to boot. I can't think of anyone else that makes watching. and listening to videos, any better than Michael and Lindsay on 'He goes She goes'. I didn't just 'like' it, I loved it. ❤

If the indigenous Canadian people are so proud of their heritage and accomplishment, why don't they go live in that protected forest without any device or subsidy created or given to them by European settlers. I'll bet, at the very least, that native Canadians wouldn't be suffering from so many cases of diabetes brought on by obesity.

Love your videos. We’re from Winnipeg and travel all over southern Manitoba. Some of our favourite places are: Turtle Mountain and the International Peace Gardens, Asessippi provincial park, Duck Mountain Provincial Park, Swan River, Ninette, Wawanesa, Spruce Woods Provincial Park, Hecla Island, The Narrows, Manipogo Provincial Park, and Steep Rock to name a few.

Camping here in July!

Is there a campground or are you allowed to set up camp there? If so, is there a specific area for this or areas to stay out of? One time we were there we were just exploring and happened upon what looked like a ceremonial site of some sort. We weren’t sure what was going on, but we didn’t wanna disturb so we didn’t go any further.

I spent a lot of time on the construction of the hydro dams. Was a teamster running rock wagons, belly dumps, and cement buggies. Was great, except for the darn bugs.

Lived my 61 years in this province and traveled a lot. Some areas north of Thompson I've never seen, several around winnipeg also. From the brandon area ,so i know the southwest area like the back of my hand.

Born and raised here,but so much I've never seen in my province, and i have traveled it a lot. So much to see, and at my age im not going to see it all.

I was born and raised in this province and never throughout my entire grade school and university stint has a teacher/professor ever taught students about this place. Even in my Geography classes. Not even a mention. Had I not stumbled upon this video, I would’ve never known this place existed.

I highly recommend reading the book " A Narrative of the Captivity and Adventures of John Tanner..." A first hand account of settling in Manitoba in the late 1700's - early 1800's. They should make a movie about his life. Zhaashaawanibiisi, "The Falcon."

This area is entirely located within the western arm of the Superior Craton that wraps around Hudsons Bay. It has been eroded relatively flat so it becomes a Shield. The Superior Craton extends east all the way through Northern Ontario and Quebec. Its southern edge coincides with the north shore of, you guessed it, Lake Superior. It has been called the Canadian Shield but it also extends southwest as far as Sioux Falls, South Dakota. It begins to dive under sedimentary soil as you travel south from “The Whiteshell” in Manitoba. The Superior Craton forms the core of the North American continent and contains some of the oldest rocks on planet earth. Its size and mass are why we have so little seismic activity. It will exist long after the human species is gone.
